As the Rivers Recall is Mihaly Wulfen in a band situation - leaving behind the billowing ambient soundscapes and putting his guitar and bass grooves up front. The heavy drums distinctly counterpoint the meandering melody lines and stick the deceptively simple, yet soulful bass lines to the overall beat, which criss-crosses between reverb-drenched psychedelic themes, post rock song structures and fuzzed out stoner riffage.

Throughout the course of As the Rivers Recall's debut album, you'll hear psychedelic tones like cool water on a hot day and grooving rhythms like warm air on cold skin.
